• Interlocking rim and groove — the top of each box has a recessed channel that the base of the next box seats into, so a tall stack behaves like a single unit instead of a leaning tower.

🧽 Keeping them clear

• Warm water with a drop of washing-up liquid, then dry with microfibre. That's the whole job.
• Avoid alcohol, acetone and abrasive sprays, they permanently haze clear plastic.
• Wipe grit out of the interlocking groove before restacking, otherwise boxes sit unevenly.
• Let shoes dry fully before boxing them, ventilation helps but it isn't a dryer.
• A silica gel sachet per box is a cheap upgrade if you live somewhere humid.

Do the doors open left or right? They drop down from the front, hinged at the bottom, so orientation doesn't matter.

Will size 47 shoes fit? Generally no. Up to around EU 46 is the realistic limit.

Are they airtight? No, deliberately. The base is perforated so moisture can escape.

Do they need assembly? Yes, each box clicks together from flat panels in about two minutes, no tools.

Can they be stacked in a wardrobe? Yes, and the enclosed space makes tall stacks more stable, not less.
